what’s going on here?
Hi everybody. This is comproversation. The blog is enabled with a variety of commenting options—all of which are meant to be used to work collaboratively and make some music (defined as loosely as possible).
Here’s the general idea, everyone’s got their musical tastes, experience, and memories. Why not collect some of them—to see what other people are thinking, and also see if we can make something out of it.
So share video clips, reproductions, memories, new compositions, and whatever else you’ve got. Keep audio and video comments down to around 30 seconds. You can use the Seesmic video comment link with or without an account (just use the comment anonymously option).
Work off of what others leave, or if you’ve got a new idea, get a new thread of comments started.
You can also embed videos from YouTubes, photos from your collection, write some text, and anything else you like. If you have trouble contributing the ongoing threads, use the Tumblr submit option at the top of the page to leave your contribution. And if you’ve got a MySpace account lying around, you can also use MySpace Karaoke (if your song is in the library) and embed the video here. But through any means possible leave your works here.
So that’s all I’ll say for now. There will be more posts to come and some other conversations to take place, but for now, let’s see where this goes…
